The conference will take place in Auditoire CO 2 at EPFL, which can be easily found using this interactive map and the registration desk will be in the main foyer, just at the entrance to the auditorium:
By plane and by train
Geneva Airport: the train to Lausanne takes about 45 minutes.There are approximately 4 direct trains per hour. Timetable details are available on http://www.sbb.ch/en/index.htm (use Geneva Airport as point of departure and Lausanne for arrival).
Zurich Airport: the train to Lausanne takes about 2.5 hours. There are two connections every hour. Some of them require changing in Biel/Bienne. Timetable details are available on http://www.sbb.ch/en/index.htm (use Zurich Airport as point of departure and Lausanne for arrival).
From Lausanne Gare (railway station), take the metro m2 (direction Croisettes) to station Lausanne-Flon (1 stop), then take the metro m1 (direction Renens-CFF) to station EPFL (9 stops, approx 13mins).
By car (not recommended!)
Motorway A1a, direction “Lausanne-Sud”, exit “Saint-Sulpice – Ecublens – Université – EPFL”. Parking places (paying) for visitors are available under l'Esplanade, and along the Avenue Piccard. Car parks indicated by the green "P" symbol are reserved for holders of a special card.
